Niagara Falls is one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders, known for its breathtaking views and the mighty roar you'll hear as 570 liters of water per second descend over its brink. Niagara Falls embodies three waterfalls from smallest to largest: Bridal Veil Falls, American Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. Due to it's height and flow rate, Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America. Combine the water flow rate of all three falls and you get the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world!
Our Rainbow Tour takes you on an informative and historical journey of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side of this natural border.
You'll gain first-hand the power of the Falls while aboard the world-famous Hornblower Boat Cruise - don't worry, raincoats will be provided! Take in soaring panoramic views atop the 775-foot Skylon Tower and become awestruck by the stories of the many daredevils who have attempted to conquer the Falls' strength. Experience amazing views at the Table Rock House Complex, and learn the vast history behind the Upper Niagara River rapids, the "Old Scow" stranded barge, and Goat and Dufferin Islands.
This tour also includes a trip to the Niagara Glen Nature Reserve overlooking the Niagara River Whirlpool - a must-see natural rarity! You'll also visit the Niagara Escarpment where over thousands of years ago the Niagara River slowly eroded its way through creating the Great Gorge. Your expert tour guide will show you the hydroelectric power plants, water intakes, and control dam as well - so you can learn how the force of the Falls is put to good use. After that there will be a relaxing stop at the School of Horticulture where you'll see the beautiful Botanical Gardens and Floral Clock. There will be a quick stop for souvenir shopping and/or snacks and beverages will be provided. Don't forget to dress comfortably and to bring your camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities.
